Human Library

WiT's Human Library invites diverse industry professionals to share their experience and advice an audience of female undergraduates, during small group discussions. So far, WiT has held two successful iterations of our Human Library.

Increase the visibility of female role models in various tech fields to inspire women in our community.

Casual Meetups

To build and further strengthen the community of women in tech, WiT's Community Pillar plans and organizes a series of casual meetup sessions throughout the semester. There are diverse activities ranging from creative to sporty, to allow our peers to bond and meet over shared or newly discovered interests.

Provide the public with opportunities to engage in and bond over a series of activities in an inclusive and safe environment while meeting like-minded individuals.

Expand our reach and encourage participants to join WiT's core team as a member.

For participants to gain a deeper understanding of WiT and participate in related activities.

Lean In Circles

WiT is running the second iteration of our Lean In Circles initiative, which provides a support group

environment for female undergraduates. Lean In Circles are small, intimate groups of 5 to 6 female students who gather biweekly during the semester to share their experiences, goals, and insights.

Create small, close-knit personal support groups for fellow female undergraduates where they can share and reflect on personal and professional goals in a safe and confidential space.

Build participants’ confidence and give them the push they need to achieve their goals.

Facilitate deep and thought-provoking conversation about common challenges faced

by women in tech.
