With the aim of inspiring our community by shining a spotlight on remarkable women in tech, we had the privilege of running our second iteration of the Human Library in 2023. Across two sessions over two days on September 21st and 22nd, we invited 10 inspiring speakers from various professions in the tech field and reached out to more than 30 female computing undergraduate participants! 🌟
Students had a chance to engage in meaningful conversations with incredible role models. Our speakers shared advice and their experiences while answering all our burning questions! 🧐This indeed was a great networking opportunity for like-minded women in tech to connect! 👭
During our first session, we were grateful to learn from Annie An Dongmei 安冬梅, Fiona Lee, Loretta C., Rachel C., and Rachel L., about building confidence, developing support networks, and starting your own business.
At our second session, Nurul A., Maria Tan, Nicholette Li, Michelle Tee, and Taryn M. continued to inspire us as we discussed the importance of remaining grounded, how to take the leap in new roles, and how to find your own path.
